BME

BME is an acronym that stands for "Black/Minority Ethnic" (or "Black and Minority Ethnic"). It is a phrase used quite commonly throughout the UK in the public and voluntary sector.

This term also includes “white” groups such as “Irish Traveller” communities (i.e. groups recorded under any of the "White" groups other than "White British").
Regenesis Squared carries out a great deal of projects that cater for the wide-ranging needs of BME communities in Manchester and beyond.
Manchester has a very large BME community and is one of the most diverse cities in the UK with over 130 living languages.
