Communities

Communities lie at the heart of what we do at Regenesis Squared. We aim to provide community focussed services so local people feel they can improve their quality of life. Our community focussed projects have included:

• Fallowfield International Festival 2008
• Longsight International Festival 2008/2009
• Funding Raising Events at Shakespeare House e.g. for the SWAT Valley in Pakistan
• Training in Community Recycling
• Awareness Raising Workshops on the harmful effects of Drugs & Alchol

We also build the cohesion of communities by encouraging partnership working. For instance, we believe Applications for Funding Applications should be written with others: any organisation applying for funding should always include at least one other voluntary sector organisation. By applying together in a 'consortium' funding application, resources are shared and communities become more sustainable.
